About Me

My photo
F. Haywood Glenn
Writing has always been a cornerstone of my life, a passion ignited by my love for reading. From the magical realms of Alice's Wonderland to the tumultuous seas of Melville's "Moby Dick," literature has been my constant companion since childhood. Through books, I've journeyed to distant lands like India with M. L. Kay and immersed myself in the rich tapestry of Regency England with Victoria Holt. Characters like Jane Eyre have grown alongside me, their stories resonating deeply at different stages of my life. In my writing, I strive to entertain and enlighten. I have been inspired by authors Zora Neale Hurston, Taylor Caldwell, and Alice Walker. I am a lifelong resident of the city of Philadelphia. I am a wife, the mother of two adult children, and grandmother to three grandchildren. With over three decades dedicated to the craft, I've authored three novels and a collection of fourteen short stories in my book, "Times of Joy and Sorrow." I continue to pursue storytelling. Currently developing my fourth novel, I am eager to unveil the intricacies of this latest endeavor in due course.
